I would hate to have a legal name so long that it took forever to write!<br /><br />There were twins I grew up with that had long first names - two words put together. I've heard too many "Oh, you can't do that to the poor child" comments to count! <br /><br />I've always believed in an economy of names, but my sister was all about eleventy seven middle names. She would have these long names that sounded more like dog pedigrees than human monikers. She married a man who didn't understand the point in a middle name. You can imagine their discussions before their first son came along. :-) <br /><br />They compromised on two names per child, and four children, so they ended up with eight names. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
