Ahh... Facebook

Does anyone really care that I love Starbucks, am super stressed at work, or that I'm a freak about my baby? Well, really? No. I didn't think so. But for some reason, I'm compelled to relay this information on a regular basis on Facebook. Yikes.

I do love that I've reconnected with some people I literally haven't heard from in TEN YEARS. That's awesome. It's also awesome to remember high school --- I couldn't get out of Dodge fast enough, and it seemed like I forgot everything that happened prior to my flight.

On the flip side, I find myself checking my page several times a day. SEVERAL. It's starting to irritate me too. I mean, it would be one thing if I was checking in on other folks, but um... I'm not. And really, it's not as if I need another time suck.

What say you, Internets? Is Facebook a time suck or is it really really awesome? (Psst... there's a poll over to the side.)

I, too, am on there constantly. I'm a little ashamed to say that it is usually the first website I check in the morning and the last before I head to bed at night. Hi, my name is Nicole, and I am an addict.

I call facebook a sucking bog of triviality with brief moments of usefulness. I am sucked into the bog FAR too often.

Yeah - I have Facebook open in one of my tabs all the time (as is Google Reader). It is definitely a time suck. But, since I also have friends here in town on it, it can be a great means of communication!

Ah, Faceook. The place I love to hate. When I started on facebook I really liked it, much better than myspace. But then a horrible thing happened. People from the high school years started joining. I am afraid it has turned into my high school years all over, very cliquish. But I did what every mature adult would do. I deleted all the high school snobs from my friends list. I am much happier now. And yes, it can be a very bad time suck!

Sadly, I feel like I'm not sophisticated enough to figure out facebook. I'm more of a thirteen year old myspace dork. although, I can't get any of them at work - and frankly that's the only place I let the internet time suck. :)

I check Myspace and Facebook everyday once (Lies! I check lots and lots of times.). Yep, its a time suck....but cheaper than shopping online.
