About that Sleeping

Well, it's not getting any better. In the past three and a half weeks, gotten a good night's sleep twice. We're all about crazy. In fact, I've nearly bitten off my boss's head TWICE today alone.

Last night, he struggled a little more than usual to go to sleep. We managed to get him down around 10:30. Naturally, he woke up at 12:30, 2:00, and 4:00. He finally settled into a deep sleep around 4:30.

Sometimes, I'm sure this is hell, but mostly I'm still loving this little person with all my heart. But why, OH WHY, won't he sleep?

So you're probably getting advice up the yinyang, but. . . is he still napping during the day? We had a problem like this with our mackerdoodle, and it was just her way of telling us she needed to drop her afternoon nap.

Sorry if this is one of those "NOT HELPFUL LADY!" comments. :-(

I hope you find an answer SOON. I would consider trying either to force a nap if he isn't taking one (this helps AJU5 sleep easier at night) or drop the nap if he is taking a good one. It is so hard to tell if they are getting "enough" daytime sleep because they don't want to admit they are tired.

Just a few other things I bet you have already tired:
Switch to big-boy (twin sized) bed and sleep with him until he is OUT.
Take him for a drive before bed and let him crash that way (if you can move him to the bed without fully waking him).
Move up bedtime (which I know isn't always fun, but maybe it would help).

Sorry I am not much help...
