Eventful?

I'm taking a break from work and watching Nathan roll around. He rolls about three-quarters of the way onto his tummy, then gives up and rolls back. When I put him on his stomach, he tolerates it for like, ten seconds and then rolls onto his back. Progress, I tell you!

Two weeks ago, Nathan's pediatrician gave him medication for acid reflux. Many of my friends have babies with acid reflux and they all say after medication, it's like having a new baby. Sadly, I feel like he's crabbier since he's been on the medication. I say that and right now he's talking and smiling at me. Oh, and cracking himself up. I keep saying "Do you think you're just hilarious? Mommy thinks she's a riot too."

Last week, I had a three day training. This is the first time I've been away from Nathan for more than four hours. Fortunately, my mom came to Chicago to "nanny" for us. It was a good transition for me, as I'm probably going to have to go back to work, at least part time, in a few weeks. Well, if the daycare comes through. We'll see.

This week ... Well, I'm hoping that it's uneventful and slow. Life is just seemingly FLYING by.

Poor baby! Mr. Hot has acid reflux and he ACTS like a baby when it kicks in. ;-)

And hold on, babe. It only flies faster as the years pass.

It does go fast, doesn't it? I hope everything works out the way you want it to with work!

I hope the medicine makes Nathan less cranky soon! He's so cute, it is a pity if he is rocking a bad attitude!

Enjoy this time, and hope things go better for you.

They are little for such a short time.

He must be getting so big! When can we meet so I can see him in person? No pressure, it is just that I have a gift and now I'm wondering if he'll fit into it. :)
