You've been going to daycare for about two months and love it. You cry when I drop you off, but when I pick you up, you're playing with the other baby and the rest of the kids. I'm convinced that it's taking the "baby" out of you. Because you? Think you're a big boy.
You finally like baths. We're keeping you in the infant/toddler bathtub because our bathroom is not big enough for more than one person. Even if the second person is an 8 month old baby. Splashing, especially when it gets daddy is super fun.
So, big boy ... I can't believe how quickly everything is happening. Honestly, I don't remember those first two months, but I've seen the pictures and it looked amazing. But these last six have been moving faster than any six months I can imagine. It seems like it was just yesterday that you shared your first social smile, and now you're standing and stepping. I'm not sure how it happened, but I'm trying to hang onto every precious second.

He's getting so big! They just keep getting more and more fun, don't they?
As soon as Nathan's smiley face popped up on my screen I had a great big smile of my own. His picture made my day!
How has it been 8 months already since he was born? Where did the time go! and uh-oh...tippy-toes and standing...your life is about to get SUPER busy. I forget how much energy and how adventurous these little guys are until I'm around them again! How well I remember phone calls on the fly (until we got a portable phone) or cut short...never seeing an adult's face because your own eyes are glued to the little ankle biters! You see your home and the world in a brand new way....from the knees down (floor up too). You'll be AMAZED at the things they find at floor level!
I still remember the talking my son did back then and how I could tell it was him no matter where he was in a store!
thank you for your comment on my blog; I write vividly, or try to, because I have never lived with my "whole family" per se. So much of my life has been via written correspondence. I lived on a sailboat for a couple of years and at that time, letters were the only way of keeping in touch with anyone. I think my fingers and tools attached to them are just weird extensions of my mouth!
Nathan, you are becoming such a big boy! You look so tall standing at the gate!
Does that boy ever stop smiling?? Oh he's so precious, Marianne. Almost makes me want another...NOT
Marianne - he is ADORABLE. Pure and simple.
He's such a cute little guy! I'm sure you hear this constantly- but he's a SPITTING image of your husband.

Those pictures are great. He is adorable.
I agree with everything written so far. He is precious beyond what words can say. He is such a happy, shining baby boy, that won't be a baby much longer. Give lots of hugs and kisses from me.
WOW! He's so big and SO inreadibly cute!! What a cutie-poo smile!
