Dollar Stores

Did you see this poll on MSN?

Who are these people who'd "never set foot" into a dollar store? I mean, I can understand not purchasing anything there because, honestly, a lot of it is just junk. But some of it? Wow! GOOD. DEAL!
The Targo puppy-dogs-and-rainbows loves Dollar Tree. We buy most of our greeting cards, gift bags, and hand soap there. I mean, are these things that you have to pay up to five times as much for? I'm guessing not.
What do you think?

I personally love to shop at dollar stores and look for good deals. I would guess that the people who don't go into them are the same people who don't own televisions.

I'm with you! You have to be careful, because there are some things that are more expensive, but gift wrap and some scrapbooking supplies, and hand soap and deodorant are all MUCH cheaper there. All of my wine glasses came from the dollar store.

Of course, I wouldn't buy their wine, if they sold it. :-) One must have standards you know.

I think I've set foot in a Dollar Store once and never bought anything. And it's not because I'm a snob. I live/work in areas that don't have them. And I guess it's not the kind of store I'd go out of my way to find.

I have done a little dollar shopping. Personally, I really like Target's dollar area - great place to get little toys, etc!

I totally love dollar stores. I've bought some stuff that's crap-- but some of it's really good stuff. It never makes sense to overspend to me.

I've found that they're always right by the Jewels/Dominicks stores in Chicago.
