Did I mention I weaned Nathan? I did! 17 months. Does that sound crazy? Because when I think about it, it feels a little crazy. I'm pretty sure my mom would be dry-heaving if I mentioned it to her.
I'm really surprised how easy it was to wean him. I mean, he still has his hand shoved down my shirt (which I've been working on for a couple of months) when I carry him. But, he doesn't pull my shirt off or anything. A couple of years ago, I was at a wedding. A friend of mine was there and she was still nursing her then 18-month old. My friend had a sundress on and her baby kept trying to rip her dress off. I'm so glad we're not going through that.
The best part is that since I weaned him, Nathan has been sleeping so well! Had I known this would be a result (if it's even correlated), I would have weaned him months ago.
So, that's where we're at. Things are going really well, and somehow that baby became a toddler. A goofy one at that.

Enjoy the sleep!!
Glad you are getting sleep! The biggest advantage of weaned kids - daddy can do some middle of the night duties! I was no longer the ONE thing she wanted (although she still wants me sometimes for snuggling instead of daddy - but some times it is the other way around).
He's a doll. Liam was the same way after I weaned him. Slept so much better. And 17 months isn't bad at all. 4 years I might have a different answer. hehehehe!
Oh mah gosh! So cute and so big!
