I guess the point of NaBloPoMo is to post every day. And I totally would have. Even if it had been stupid little pictures, a cute story about my baby, or HEY! Have you heard this one about my cats? But...
But, Nathan has been sick for a week. Poor guy. A virus has attacked him with a vengeance. His nose, his tummy, gah. And to top it off, I was flying solo last week because The Targo was out of town for a wedding. Needless to say, I had a snotty, very miserable baby strapped to me for five solid days. The only time I got on the computer was at work ... which isn't the best for blog posting.
We're much happier now, because a) he's on the mend, and b) daddy is back in town. What a difference it made to have The Targo there last night. I could actually go to the bathroom by myself without the Banshee-esque screaming.
So, although I lost at NaBloPoMo, I'm going to try to post more often. And perhaps, just maybe, write. Since I'm not working on my dissertation, I need to use those skills somehow.

Sorry to hear your little guy was sick while you were running solo! That doesn't sound fun at all.
And remember, there is always next year...
You may have lost at NaBloPoMo, but you've won a battle as a mama! You survived sick solohood (yeah, don't check that last word in a dictionary) and no one has been hospitalized.
You're going to treasure that a lot more than some blog challenge when you're fifty.
I'm glad Nathan is feeling better and that you survived!
Oh yeah, that was a brutal week all right! Any mom out here pretty much knows that you are busy with your little cutie when the blog stays quiet for a while.
Glad to hear Nathan is feeling better. It's horrible when little ones are spewing from every which way; it's tough on their little bodies.
your little guy is such a cutie! i'm glad he's feeling better now!
