Nathan and I have been sick for a week and we've turned a corner --- finally. But my head! OY!
I'm that person who has said every year "I don't need a flu shot. I'm a healthy person --- the flu won't make me that sick." I am an idiot.

I said the same thing for years, and then last year, and the year before that, I got the flu! Kicked the ever loving cr*p outta me.
I have an appointment to get a flu shot tonight, and as soon as the swine flu shot is available, I'm getting that too. I learned my lesson the hard way, too.
I have never had the flu or flu shot. In my family, the only times the flu has appeared is after the flu shot... So, I think it really depends on your family history...
