I read this today on Baby Center:
Some old friends — heartburn and constipation — may take center stage now. The pregnancy hormone progesterone relaxes smooth muscle tissue throughout your body, including your gastrointestinal tract. This relaxation, coupled with the crowding in your abdomen, slows digestion. Sluggish digestion can cause gas and heartburn — especially after a big meal — and contribute to constipation.
(I'm pretty sure I posted something similar to this last time around, but I am too lazy to look.)
I'm sure part of my not feeling right is this. But, I feel too, that with your first pregnancy, you spend so much time being elated, planning, building, living, that you don't realize when things are wrong or right. Now, the second time around, I'm not sure what is right or wrong, but I know I don't feel well.
I called my doctor's office at 9 this morning and left a message. I haven't heard back. I'm sure I'll have more to say about my OB practice at a later date. Right now, I still feel a little off, but I feel much better. I'm looking forward to going home and snuggling with my very very crabby child. We both need it.

I know I owe you an e-mail. Sorry, but here's the rule my doctor gave me with my last three pregnancies. If you're not cramping or bleeding there's nothing wrong.
Great comment above!! And so true. Relax, your body is changing so much every minute. And it won't feel like the first pregnancy. Toward the end of my pregnancy with Liam, I started having these stabbing pains in parts where you should never be allowed stabbing pains. It felt like something had to be wrong. Turns out, baby was just trying to push threw a cervix that wasn't ready. He's still has that very determined personality. You'll be fine and wonderful. Now to find someone to entertain Nathan while you take a nap!! Wish I loved closer!!
I hope some rest was all you needed.
