You can only do so much. Nathan is guaranteed to have two parents and grandparents that love him and will be totally involved in his life. That's a start.
The rest of your family? You can't control and you can't fix. You can only hope that something will bring you all back together over the years.

I'm there right now. I feel guilty sometimes for moving on with our family, but I can't stay stuck in the same old ruts.
